I can’t get to the fill valve!
Some modern toilets do not allow access to the fill valve located on the underside of the toilet tank. This is called a recessed/inaccessible fill valve.
If you have a toilet with a recessed/inaccessible fill valve, your installation will be a bit different.
You will need the Alternate T-valve – this will allow you to source your water at the ⅜” or ½” sized wall connection in your bathroom since you cannot access the ⅞” fill valve under the toilet tank.
Also, if you haven't already, check out the Installation Video below – you will see a standard installation and can note what is different about your toilet.
